Shaun Hittle is a licensed private detective with more than 10 years of experience, Shaun has investigated more than 100 homicides, hundreds of serious felonies, and dozens of death penalty and wrongful conviction cases. Shaun holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a master's degree in journalism.
Prior to becoming a professional investigator, Shaun's exposure to the criminal justice system began as both a social worker and as an investigative reporter. After working on numerous news stories on wrongful conviction, Shaun began an 11-year career as an investigator for the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System. After being promoted to chief investigator, he led a team of 15 investigators, teaching and training best practices on criminal defense investigation and creating systems and processes to ensure quality. In the last 10 years, Shaun worked for groups such as the Innocence Project, the Oklahoma Innocence Project, and the Northwestern University Center on Wrongful Convictions.
